Technical Description

Asocion is offered through an application service provider, so it can be called software as a service (Saas). Association management software is used on your web browser, so you don't have to install it on your personal computer.

To create and modify Asocion's content and layout you need Internet Explorer (7.0 or newer) or Firefox (3.0 or newer) web browser. Firefox is also available for Mac OS X and Linux. It is allowed to modify content with other browsers but some features might be disabled. If the browser is not supported there is a following note for the user (the note is not shown for site visitors):

It is recommended that the screen resolution is at least 1024*768 for comfortable editing.

Sites created with Asocion are usable with the recent versions of the most popular web browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Safari). Service is planned to be unobstructed, so it works fluently on most text-based browsers and on mobile-use.

The sites are maintained on servers owned by Optinet Ltd. The servers are stored in a physically protected space. This way your association's information and material is always safe.
